The family of an Israeli hostage from Gaza on Saturday condemned the “raw” and “wicked” propaganda of Hamas, following the publication of a new video with the same hostage by the Palestinian Islamist Movement, the same day, France Presse and Agerpres.
“We are forced to witness our beloved son and brother, Evyar David, deliberately and cynically hungry in the Hamas tunnels in Gaza-a living, buried skeleton,” his family said in a statement.
The publication, on Thursday, by the Islamic Palestinian jihad and then Hamas of two videos with hostages, including one with Evyar David, created emotion in Israel and re -issued the debate on the need to reach a negotiated agreement between the Government and the Hamas to ensure the release of all hostages.
On Saturday, Hamas published a longer version (almost 5 minutes) of the same video with Evyar, in which the young man, very weak and who is barely standing, appears in a tunnel in the Gaza Strip. The staging aims to do a parallel with the current humanitarian situation in Gaza and emphasizes – especially through the image of a hourglass – the need to find a solution as soon as possible, if Israel wants to save the lives of the captives, AFP notes.
“What SAP is my own grave,” says David, 24 years old, in the video, filmed as he smooths the earth in a tunnel. “Time is running out,” he adds, according to the EFE agency.

In Saturday's statement, by which the Israeli press is authorized to broadcast the images, Evyar's family said that “their son has only a few days to live in his current state.”
