Who is Cristian Radu
According to Info Sud East, Radu is one of the most influential politicians in PNL Constanța. It is criticized by the opposition in Mangalia and part of the civil society for the discretionary way in which the City Hall leads, being accused of lack of transparency, especially regarding the assets accumulated on behalf of the relatives.
He sparked criticism in the beginning of summer after publicly criticizing Romanians who choose to do their concentration outside the country to the detriment of the Romanian coast.
“Take the salary. The first thing, what do you do? You go to the supermarket. These companies-hypermarkets-are companies outside the country, so send the money outside. Then go to the mall to dress. 80-90% of the stores that are in the mall are from outside the country, yes?”
“And, once a year, you want to go on leave. Where do you go outside the country. So, if all the money we take abroad, we get them out of the country, we have no money to restore the infrastructure, to manage properly – not only in the city or municipality of Mangalia.
