“We contributed during this period, through the Romanian teams, to the common negotiation between the European Union and the United States. What Țoiu says about Romania's return to Visa Waiver

Asked about the preparations for Nicușor Dan's visit to the US, Oana Țoiu said: “First, this visit is already established from the time of telephone conversation between President Donald Trump and President Nicușor Dan.”

“Romania is no longer at a time when the question arises whether the visit will take place or if the meeting between presidents will take place. Rather, now, our priorities are related to the content of the agenda, the future steps and the way we advance in the bilateral relationship with the United States,” the head of the Romanian diplomacy said.
