Governor Mikhail Kotyukov instructed in Krasnoyarsk the new building of the gymnasium No. 9 on Martha Street, 26a, the construction of which was completed for almost two months.
The regional government said that on the day of knowledge, 715 gymnasium students from the 1st to 11th grades would sit here for their desks. In the future, the number of students will be increased to more than a thousand people. The educational process will be carried out in one shift. The school is built at the expense of the regional and city budgets. Cabinets are currently equipped with modern equipment, and on the territory around the educational institution, landscaping work is completed.
Also now there is a pedestrian way to the gymnasium from the side of the Street Mechnikov, kindergarten No. 221 and yard from the side of March 8. Lights will be installed along the paths. The plans are to organize a parking in the area of the former checkpoint of the military unit. We add that next to the new building of the gymnasium No. 9 there is a construction of the road, which will drive up to the educational institution from the 3rd Pioneers Street.
After the inspection of the Krasnoyarsk gymnasium, the head of the region held a meeting on the training of educational institutions for the new school year in the territories, paying special attention to the issues of overhaul and the construction of facilities.
“The month remains before the start of the school year. It is necessary to timely complete the preparation of school infrastructure. By September, all educational organizations of the region should be ready to receive children, ”said Mikhail Kotyukov.
The governor emphasized that it is important not to forget about the improvement of territories adjacent to schools, and about the arrangement of access roads and pedestrian crossings.
Also, during the meeting, Mikhail Kotyukov paid special attention to the progress of restoration work at the facilities of the field of education, which suffered during the rampant of the elements in early April. In 70 schools, work has already been completed. In 13 municipalities, work continues at 40 facilities.
We add that the head of the region is holding the construction and overhaul of schools in the region in personal control and regularly inspects the course of work at the facilities.
