The author of the deadly attack at Manchester's synagogue swore faith to the Islamic State group, the police announced

The author of the Synagogue of Manchester Synagogue last week is the police during the attack and said that “the Islamic State (SI) is a faith to the group,” a British anti -terrorist police spokesman announced on Wednesday, according to News.ro.
“At the beginning of the attack in front of the Synagogue the Hebrew congregation from Heaton Park, the attacker called the police and said that the Islamic State is sworn to the group,” the spokesman announced.
A continuous investigation “on the motivations” of this attack that took place on Thursday, by Iom Kippur, a resulting from the death of two Jewish believers, he added.
The author of the attack, a British of Syrian origin, 35 years old, was killed by shooting by the police.
What happened to the synagogue
Two people died and four were seriously injured last week in front of a Manchester synagogue, which was very crowded during the Yom Kippur holiday. A man entered the car in front of the synagogue in Heaton Park in Crumpsall, in the north of the metropolis, then left the vehicle and attacked them with a knife.
The police were contacted around 9:30 local (11:30 Romanian time) after a witness saw “a car that entered people and a man who was stabbed.” Others saw “a security agent” while he was “hit with a knife”.
The two people who died in the attack are members of the Jewish community, the police said. Four people are hospitalized with serious wounds.
