Goalkeeper Aioani pulled white hairs from the Dynamo players. Rapid prevailed in a spectacular derby

In front of 35,000 spectators, Rapid defeated Dinamo 2-0 (0-0) on Sunday evening, at the National Arena, in a match of the 13th stage of the football Super League, and climbed to the 2nd place in the ranking, tied on points with the leader FC Botoșani.

Rapid imposed himself in this derby, in which Dinamo was the host, through the own goal of Eddy Gnahore (59) and the success of Cristian Manea (74), although he played the last part of the match numerically inferior, after the elimination of Cătălin Vulturar (68).

Dinamo had the first chances of the match (11), but Danny Armstrong's shot was rejected by goalkeeper Marian Aioani, and when Nikita Stoinov resumed, striker Elvir Koljic was the one who rejected a “scorpion kick” from in front of the empty goal with an acrobatic intervention.

Gheorghi Milanov (31) shot just wide of the goal from outside the box, and Maxime Sivis shot with the left from the box, but Aioani was on the post again (32). Dinamo attacked Aioani's goal at the end of the game, bar the brave goalkeeper of Višinii and the bar opposed the home team's goal. In the 81st minute, Sivis sent the ball in the crossbar, after which Cîrjan resumed from the scissors, but Aioani rejected. The goalkeeper from Giulești was also at the post of Mamoudou Karamoko's shot (90+4), from 18 meters.

Missed moment of silence

Before the match, an attempt was made to hold a moment of silence in memory of Cătălin Hîldan, Flavius Domide, as well as the victims of the accident in Rahova, but it was disrupted by the supporters.

Dinamo have not beaten Rapid since April 11, 2015 (2-0) and recorded their first defeat at home this season. At the same time, the series of 9 matches without failure of the “dogs” ended this evening. On the other hand, Rapid has three consecutive victories after the failure with FC Hermannstadt.
