The head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security Council and Defense of Ukraine Andrij Kowaleko stated that the purpose of the attack was radio storage, which works for the Russian military-industrial complex and specializes in the production of army and weapon command systems. The owner of the radio storage is the Emphoo's Priborostrojna Corporation (which in turn belongs to Rostech) and is located on the sanction lists of the European Union, the United States and Canada.
According to eyewitnesses, drones flew towards “Rewunowa Zakłady”, which, among others, produce computer and radio equipment for the needs of the Ministry of Defense. From 2023, the company has been covered by Canada as an “involved in the war” in Ukraine. The radio is located a few hundred meters from it.

Ukrainian drones also attacked in the Volgograd region. Governor Andrey Boczarow announced that the goal was “Transport and Energy Objects”. According to him, there are no victims. As a result of the attack in the Kotelnik region, gas deliveries to about 65 private households were interrupted. Fragments of drones also fell on the railway tracks, which resulted in the restriction of train traffic in the Tinguta station in the Swietłojarska area. Sappers work on site, added Boczarow.
