The rector of SNSPA, Remus Pricopie is the one who sent to the Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice (ICCJ) the request from the institution.

“By this endeavor, the rector SNSPA asks the Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice to communicate if, starting with the period referred to in the article and so far, including, criminal complaints have been registered regarding these facts or on any other criminal acts committed by Marius Pieleanu and who have been or if they have been forced or to be constituted or leads to clarifying the accusations reported in the journalistic investigation published by Snoop.ro ”, writes in a press release of SNSPA.

“We mention that on February 10, 2025, the Ethics Commission unanimously decided to close the file, due to the fact that there are no undeniable evidence to prove the guilt of Mr. Pieleanu Marius,” according to SNSPA.

The representatives of the university claim that they “reaffirm” their commitment “firm for transparency, institutional responsibility and compliance with the law and will fully collaborate with all the state institutions in clarifying any suspicion that could affect the confidence in the academic environment and the safety of the members of the university community.”

“We reaffirm that SNSPA treats with maximum responsibility any suspicion regarding the integrity of teachers and has zero tolerance to any form of abuse, harassment or behavior that violates the dignity of the members of the academic community,” according to the press release.
