For two days, starting on Wednesday, the 11th edition of the Ermas Conference (the annual scientific conference of the Romanian economists from the economic environment from abroad), organized in partnership by the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iași, the National Bank of Romania and the University of Cluj, from Cluj-Napoca.

The event brings together, once again, the Romanian economists from abroad, but also the international ones. Keynote Invited speakers this year include reference names from global economic research, such as Renee Adams (University of Oxford), Michela Giorcelli (University of California), Silvia Goncalves (McGill University).

Every year, Ermas also brings (at least) a Romanian Keynote Speaker, and this year the special guest is Ioana Marinescu (University of Pennsylvania).

The Ermas conferences, which debuted in 2014, offer a dynamic framework for debating and exchange relevant economic ideas in the landscape of the current world economy, while contributing to the consolidation of the academic community.
