Trump promotes his investments in Scotland and boasts the achievements in his Madat: “As you know, yesterday I stopped a war. In fact, I stopped about five wars”

On a five-day visit to Scotland, where he inaugurated the third golf course in his family, Donald Trump boasts that he managed to put a head to about five wars and hurry to return to the White House to “extinguish fire worldwide.”

President Donald Trump took advantage of the five days in visiting Scotland including to inaugurate the latest golf course of his family, the third in the United Kingdom. With the cross in hand, on Tuesday, July 29, he announced that during his term of office the American administration managed to prevent “about five wars”.
“As you know, yesterday I stopped a war.”
His visit to the United Kingdom combined the business interests of his family with moments of public diplomacy, in a media offensive in which Donald Trump presented both his achievements in foreign policy and personal links with Scotland.
The event took place at Trump International Golf Links, in the village of Balmedie, where the US president appeared accompanied by his sons, Donald Jr. and Eric Trump, to officially inaugurate the new land.
“I can hardly wait to play today. We will play very quickly. Then I return to Washington and we will extinguish fires throughout the world. I solved one yesterday. You know, I stopped a war yesterday. In fact, I stopped about five wars”, said the leader from the White House in front of the press.

He wanted to emphasize the importance of these diplomatic interventions: “This is much more important than playing golf. No matter how much I like it, it is much more important. It will be a special year and a special decade. We will make all our countries strong, great and truly wonderful. And this happens, and it happens very quickly.”
The conflicts that Donald Trump claims to have defined
Donald Trump's statements come in the context of extremely volatile developments at international level, and the “about five wars” for whose cease they are:
* Mediation of the armistice between Thailand and Cambodia, signed on Monday, despite the subsequent allegations of violating the understanding by Cambodia;
* Defamation of nuclear stresses between India and Pakistan;
* Prevention of an open conflict between Serbia and Kosovo;
* Calming the situation between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo;
* Facilitating the armistice in Yemen, after the Houthi group, supported by Iran, accepted the cessation of fire following the attacks launched by the US and the United Kingdom;
* Stopping “in just 12 days” of a possible military confrontation between Israel and Iran, as a result of American attacks on Iranian nuclear infrastructure at the end of June.
Gaza, Netanyahu and suspended negotiations
Against the background of these statements, the crisis in Gaza remains a major concern, and Donald Trump seems to have adopted a position different from that of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the extent of the humanitarian crisis. Asked about the statements of the Israeli leader, who minimized the risk of hunger, Trump replied: “I do not know. Based on the images on the television, I would say that not in particular, because those children seem very hungry.”
However, Donald Trump did not lose the opportunity to say that the United States did not receive due recognition for the humanitarian aid offered in Gaza. Asked about the collaboration with Netanyahu, he stated: “We work together to try to put things in order for the world.”
Golf, business and diplomacy
The visit to Scotland was largely dedicated to promoting Trump family business. The new golf course is the third in the Trump Organization portfolio in Scotland and will host a PGA seniors championship tournament.
Eric Trump, who was in charge of the project, described the land as “the largest 36 golf holes”, and the president called “a rare project”, made in natural dunes.
“These are very difficult to build and you will not see others like these. You will probably never see another land built in the dunes. Not in the dunes,” Donald Trump said about his family's investment.
He also spoke about his Scottish origins, evoking the figure of his mother, Mary Anne Macleod, born on Lewis Island.
“He loved this place. He was returning here with religiousness once a year, in the summer, with my sister Marianne and sometimes with Elizabeth,” said the president of the US, who thanked his nutrients, Lara Trump, for the involvement in the 2024 elections and praised the reliable collaborators of his real estate empire.
During his five -day visit to Scotland, Donald Trump also announced the signing of a preliminary commercial agreement with the European Union.
“We have just signed a very important agreement, as you know, with the European Union, but also with the United Kingdom. It is an advantageous agreement for the country and an excellent agreement for everyone,” Donald Trump said Tuesday.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, known for not playing Golf, was invited by Trump on Air Force One for a private tour of his Aberdeen properties.
