The police are investigating a break in relation to actor Brad Pitt, two sources from the forces familiar with the incident said on Thursday.
The actor, protagonist of the new “F1” movie, was not home at that time, sources also said for ABC News, according to News.ro.
A Los Angeles police spokesman confirmed a break on Wednesday, at 22:30 local time, at a residence in the Los Feliz neighborhood, but did not identify who lived there or who was the owner of the house.
The thieves have raised the house and took various goods, said officials, without detailing what it is. The value of objects has not been disclosed yet.
The police are looking for three people who climbed the front fence and entered the house through the front window, the sources said.
This is the most recent in a wave of breakage in recent years to target luxury neighborhoods in Los Angeles and South California, where VIPs and celebrities were victims.
By Valentine's Day, the house in Los Angeles of actress Nicole Kidman and musician Keith Urban was broken. A week before, the home of the southern California of the attacker Olivier Giroud, the star of the Los Angeles football club, a member of the national team of France, was broken.
The authorities did not specify whether any of the crimes are related to the South American gangs that targeted luxury homes throughout the continent and who have been present in the Los Angeles area for more than a decade.
