A group of Romanian children from the diaspora visited, on Monday night, the Palace and Cotroceni Garden, and had the opportunity to have a dialogue with the President of Romania. Among other things, Dan advised them to attend their university studies in Romania, notes Agerpres.

“My personal advice is not to leave after the 12th grade in western Europe, but to leave with a masters, because the first years of studies (…) are very important and are the ones who are affective to the place where I study. I worked in Bucharest for three years and I said that in Bucharest I want to live.

Participants in the 16th edition of the “Arc” camps program, the Romanian children asked the head of state several questions about Romania's relations with the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine and how the Romanian state can help the children of our citizens in these countries.

“One important thing wants to tell you: the Romanian state has to take care of all the Romanians no matter where they live. It happened in practice? Not too much at the moment … We must first have a discussion, with your parents,” the president said at the beginning of the event.
