Even though the Mercato period is approaching the end, Rapid announced that will transfer a player to bring value and a different style of play. A central midfielder is expected to sign with the Giuleștean club on the last hundred meters.

Costel Gâlcă said how long Andrei Borza might miss, injured in the national team. The coach considered the decision that the defender would stay at Rapid, although he was close to leaving, a beneficial one.

– How do you appreciate the transfer campaign? It wanted stability, homogeneity. Was it a good thing?
– Yes, it's a good thing, I said it all the time. The transfer period is closed. It is important to bring players, to bring us an extra for the team. We hope that in the last moments a player will come, maybe two, We don't know. But I said we need a balance and, above all, players with other features so we can be better.

– Mr. Angelescu said that a central midfielder is about to come. He is a player you wanted?
– Of course I talked about several players.We want a midfielder to add value to the team. And, of course, a midfielder to help the team with another style of play, with other qualities.

– Okay, as I said, he's important to us, important to everyone. He returned and made much better matches than in the beginning of the championship, but it was predictable. – I don't know exactly to tell you, but at least 2 weeks sure. But we hope to come back as soon as possible.

– How affected he was? That he had this misfortune and was injured in the national team.
– Normal. When you go to the national team, you are thinking of playing, helping, representing the national of Romania. But it may not have been to be at this moment, but we hope it will be constant in the championship matches and can be recalled again.

– Victor Angelescu also said that for Alex Dobre there were offers from other teams. How important is it to stay at Rapid?
– They are important players for us. There are many players who would definitely get to know the team expression on the field. Well, we have left and we want to be at another level, to help us, we can reach our goals.

– I would like to ask you about Stolz and Aioani. What is the reasoning for which you first chose Stolz and then Aioani?
– From my point of view, Stolz looked much better in preparation. As I talked to Aioani, I told him to fight for a place in the team and it will certainly come. And it came!

– At the moment are our players and I told you that it is important for us to grow them, to introduce them. They really need minutes to grow, but it is important and in what times we introduce them to be able to trust, to help us in the future.

– Are there any loans for these young people, as was Raul Stanciu's case?
– All that can be, but at this moment, are our players.

– What is Burmaz's situation? How does his recovery go? What do you know?
– He, for now, is in recovery and I hope to come back as soon as possible, but I suspect it will be for next year.

– But do you continue to part in the plans of the Rapid?
– Yes, it is part of our lot and we hope to come stronger and help us.
