Next week, a joint meeting of the Energy and Social Policy Committee is to take place in the Sejm regarding the results of audits conducted at PGE Dystrybucja Branch in Rzeszów and the irregularities found – PiS deputies said at a conference in the capital of Podkarpacie.
The combined committees are also to discuss the situation of employees of the PGE Dystrybucja branch of Rzeszów, who were dismissed in connection with the results of audits. It comes, among others about the head of the Solidarity company Edmund Myszka and other trade unionists.
As PiS MP Jan Warzecha said at the Monday press conference, members of both committees will expect explanations from the company's authorities.
– We want to find out if the labor law has been broken? Has all the possibilities of social dialogue been exhausted? He added.
Warzecha pointed out that MPs would ask representatives of the Ministry of State Asset, whether what is happening at PGE Dystrybucja in Rzeszów is related to the restructuring in the company.
Last week, PGE Dystrybucja announced that after audits carried out in the company The employment relationship with 29 directors and deputies has been terminated. He lost his job, among others Chairman of “Solidarity” in the Rzeszów branch of Edmund Myszka, who at the conference emphasized that he was disciplined.
– In the justification of the dismissal, certain documents were referred to which neither the trade union organization nor employees have access – he added.

Last week, PGE Dystrybucja spokesman Ewa Wiatr informed PAP that from the beginning of 2024 16 audits were completed in the company, and another 17 is in progress.
The company also informed that last Monday it sent a notification to the Lublin prosecutor's office about the possibility of committing a crime and exposure of the company at nearly PLN 1.5 million of losses. The irregularities were to apply to the implementation of contracts in the scope of tree felling and cleaning the technological belt at high voltage lines at the Rzeszów branch.
– The audit results have shown that despite the non -performance of these services by the contractor, employees confirmed their implementation, which resulted in the payment of undue remuneration. In relation to seven employees of the Rzeszów branch, staff consequences related to irregularities and non -compliance with entrusted obligations that could result in the company's financial losses – said the wind.
Agnieszka Kępka, spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin, confirmed PAP that the notification regarding irregularities related to the implementation of the contract for felling trees was received by the prosecutor's office. (PAP)
