Shein is building a center near Wrocław. As many as 5 thousand jobs


The Shein logistics center, which is being built near Wrocław, is to serve as the brand's main European operational hub. The new facility, according to Shein's announcement, will be one of the most technologically advanced in Europe.

According to Next.Gazeta.pl, thanks to this investment the number of jobs in the region will increase to 5,000. Michał Rado, deputy marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, emphasized that Shein's development in the region will translate into thousands of new positions and confirms trust in the local business community.

The company also reports cooperation with over 170 local enterprises from the small and medium-sized business sector, including transport, packaging and professional services. Shein has been operating in Poland since 2022 and has employed 3,000 so far. people.

As reported by Next.Gazeta.pl, the Shein logistics center is equipped with advanced robotic systems and automated sorting lines, which allows for increased operational efficiency and faster flow of goods.
The company's representatives emphasize that the facility is intended to support both Polish and European brands and sellers present on the platform, offering them access to a wide consumer base and high-quality logistics services.

The center is expected to reach full capacity by the end of 2025, when the facility's area will be 740,000 sq m. m. Thanks to automation, Shein intends to set a new standard for e-commerce logistics in Europe.
Leonard Lin, Shein's president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, explained that the investment reinforces the company's long-term commitment to the region and will allow it to better serve customers across Europe, offering faster and more reliable deliveries.
