Protests in front of a hotel for migrants in Great Britain. Police action


According to the British daily, Guardian, about 700 people showing solidarity with asylum seekers marched through the streets of Epping at Bell Hotel, where migrants are staying. Here, over 2,000 were waiting for them. Protesters opposing asylum seekers. The groups were separated by a police cordon.
The protesters kept the banners with the slogan: “Let's protect our children”, many had the flags of England with them, as well as the UK reform party. There were also a resident of Epping chanting slogans of support for Tommy Robinson, one of the most famous activists of the extreme right in Great Britain.
The counter -manifestants had banners with the inscriptions, among others: “Let's not let the extreme right divide us with their hatred and violence” and “let's take care of refugees”. They also chanted: “Refugees welcome” and “Nazi scum.
“Hotel residents feel trapped”
The police have announced that the residents of the asylum seekers feel “imprisoned”, are afraid to leave their place of residence and feel anxious in connection with the protests. Asylum seekers and employees of the Service Center recommended remaining in the building after 17, since there were cases of verbal and physical assault towards migrants.
Demonstrations have been going on from July 17, when the court charged one of the asylum seekers with sexual assault on a 14-year-old.
This weekend, protests were organized outside EPPING for the first time. The police in Norfolk reported that about 400 people opted immigration and 250 counter -manifestors gathered in front of a hotel for asylum seekers in Diss. On Sunday, in front of the Hotel in Canary Wharf in London, another antymigration protest took place, in which several hundred people took part.
