A former TVN journalist heard allegations. Together with him 47 suspects in the investigation

47 people have so far charged with the Wrocław prosecutor's office in the investigation of economic crimes, in which suspects are, among others former TVN journalist Mateusz W. and former Police Commander -in -Chief Zbigniew M.

The investigation into tax, economic and justice crimes was initiated after notifying the Head of the West Pomeranian Customs and Tax Office in Szczecin of February 10, 2023.

Initially, it concerned the use by persons representing the PP company, with invoices certifying untruth (…) The scope of the investigation was extended to include a number of other acts and currently includes about 100 business entities – the Wrocław prosecutor's office previously informed.

A spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Wrocław, Prosecutor Karolina Stocka-Mycek told PAP on Monday that so far 47 people were charged. – The procedure is multi -threaded, extensive, it is not known when it will end She added.

Suspects in this investigation are, among others Former TVN journalist Mateusz W. according to the findings of the Witrunemedia.pl portal, W. was released from TVN Warner Bros. Discovery.

Mateusz W. was detained in April this year by the CBA. The journalist was accused of participating in an organized criminal group in the period from November 2023 to October 2024. The group was to deal with tax, economic and justice crimes. It comes, among others for “obstructing the conduct of law enforcement authorities by providing support to perpetrators of crime, including aimed at removing the prosecutor from conducting the investigation,” said spokeswoman of the Wrocław prosecutor's office. The former journalist stayed in custody until June this year.

In turn, the former Police Commander -in -Chief Zbigniew M. was charged with tax and economic offenses and influencing the course and obstruction of investigations. According to the prosecutor's office, he was also to operate in an organized criminal group.
