ISW cited the opinion of the German division General Christian Freuding, who stated that Moscow is planning to further increase the production of drones, which means that Ukraine and its allies should consider new anti -aircraft defense ways. In his opinion, the existing methods, including the expensive Patriot system, do not fulfill their role effective protection of the Ukrainian sky.

At the beginning of June, Ukrainian military intelligence assessed that Russia can produce about 170 Shaad drones a day, while planning to increase its production capacity to 190 drones daily by the end of 2025.

According to ISW, the increase in the production of shahads and drones-waves in recent months has allowed the Russian army to drastically increase attacks on Ukraine in a relatively short time. Russia rarely fired more than 200 drones in one night between January and May this year. This changed at the end of May, when this number increased to 250, until the early July exceeded 700. This means that the use of one -way shock drones by Moscow during night attacks increased by an average of 31 percent. monthly both in June and July.

The largest attack since the start of the full -size war in February 2022 was carried out by the Russian army on July 9; It used 741 rockets and drones.
