On June 18, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill as a whole, the deputy from the Voice party Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported. The bill provides for new requirements for the head of Army, the selection procedure with the participation of international experts, the transparent mechanism of asset management, control over the transfer of assets. According to him, the adoption of the bill is one of the conditions for unlocking the financial assistance to Ukraine from the EU in the amount of UAH 600 million.

The Asset Agency was created on February 24, 2016.
Its task is to identify, arrest, management and sale of assets received illegally. They are transferred under the control of the agency if their cost is at least 200 minimum salaries. The agency maintains an open register of arrested assets and implements them through bidding.
