Two people died, and another is in serious condition, after a BMW collided head-on with a truck
A serious road accident took place in the afternoon of Tuesday, October 28, on the E83 at Podu Iloaie. Two people lost their lives, and a third is seriously injured, after a BMW collided head-on with a truck.
According to witnesses, the BMW made a dangerous overtaking on a continuous line, at which point the truck appeared in front, and the driver could no longer avoid the collision, writes Ziarul de Iasi.
The intervention teams that arrived at the scene of the accident could not do anything for two of the three victims.
The third injured person was taken over by the medical crew.

Road traffic, disrupted
The accident disrupted road traffic.
The cars coming from Târgu Frumos towards Iași formed kilometers long columns, in the area traveling almost bar to bar.
Until the interventions are completed and traffic resumes under normal conditions, the authorities recommend avoiding the area
The police are investigating to establish the exact circumstances of the tragedy, and a criminal case for manslaughter will be opened.
Another serious accident also took place on Tuesday, October 28, on DN 1, in the Otopeni area, between a pedestrian and a heavy-duty vehicle. The pedestrian died as a result of the impact.
On Monday, seven teenagers, aged between 15 and 17, were injured after an ATV with a trailer overturned in Harghita. One of the victims died.
