Donald Trump enters between Thailand and Cambodia. Announces a suspension of a weapon

“I just had a very fruitful telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Cambodia and informed him about my conversations with Thailand and her prime minister's duties. Both sides strive for immediate suspension of weapons and peace. They also want to return to” commercial negotiations “with the United States, which in our opinion is improper until the end of the fighting,” Trump wrote on Truth Social platform.
“It has been agreed that the parties would meet immediately and quickly develop a suspension of a weapon, and eventually peace! It was an honor for me to cooperate with both countries. They have a long and rich history and culture. I hope that they will get along well for many subsequent years. When everything is done and the peace will be close, I am looking forward to the conclusion of commercial contracts with both countries!” – added the US president in his post.

Conflict between Thailand and Cambodia
AFP said on Saturday that the number of fatal clashes of Thailand and Cambodia forces increased to 33. The Thailand Army informed 20 killed, including 14 civilians, as well as several dozen injured.
The Ministry of Defense of Cambodia has given reports of 13 fatalities and over 70 victims. The authorities of this country appealed for immediate suspension of weapons, accusing Thailand of “intentional, unpired, illegal military attack.”
However, the Thai army believes that Cambodian forces carry out continuous fire using heavy weapons, field artillery and BM-21 rocket systems. According to Bangkok, Cambodia has committed “barbaric acts” over the past three days.
The conflict broke out on Thursday in the disputed areas on the border of the Surin Province in Thailand and Uddar Meanchey in Cambodia. Fire exchange takes place in at least six locations on a section of over 200 km.
The international community calls for immediate suspension of weapons.
The border between the two countries remains closed. Appeals are addressed to tourists so that they do not go to the region, where armed clashes are ongoing.
