The investigation reveals that during the period 2009-2017, the companies owned by the current Deputy Prime Minister have repeatedly offered an ANAF inspector. During the trial, Dragoș Anastasiu was heard as a witness and acknowledged the facts in all phases of the trial.
Anastasiu told the court that he had perceived the request as a blackmail and that he accepted the bribe to avoid closing the company and dismissing the employees.
According to him, ANAF official would have threatened a director of the company that “he will put his employer in prison” if he does not collaborate. The investigation was reported by the reality and confirmed by the decisions of the Bucharest Court and Court of Appeal, consulted by Hotnews.
