For more than an hour, the University of Craiova was nowhere in Sarajevo. The hosts dominated copiously and made fried days to Mirel Rădoi's defenders, needing goalkeeper Isenko to intervene repeatedly to limit the proportions of the score.
Eventually it ended 2-1, with a large occasion wasted by Alexandru Crețu in the 5th minute of the extensions. A defeat to the limit, after which the Oltenians remain with good chances at the advance in the preliminary round.
How did Tudor Băluță commented, integralist today?
Tudor Băluță, after Sarajevo – U Craiova 2-1: “In the first half they had greater dedication and motivation”
“In the first half I suffered, I do not know now to say the exact reasons, but it is clear that we have to analyze, to see why we did not rise to the match in the first half. In the second part I think we dominated, we were more dangerous, I had that opportunity at the end.
Ove total I think that They practiced a fairly direct match with long balls, changes in steering. In the second half we did better. I am sure that next Thursday, at home, there will be a completely different match.
I think I suffered as an attitude in the first half, they played with greater dedication, motivation. It is good, however, that I gave a good answer in the second half. We need to take the positive things, go with them to the next match.
I think they brought people to the center, from what I felt on the ground, the side attackers entered quite a lot and thus created superiority. Plus the central attackers, who came a lot to receive. They had a little superiority in the middle in the first half, but in the second part I set it, ”Băluță told Digisport.
Regarding the return game, scheduled next Thursdayat 8:30 pm, Băluță said that it is important for his team to practice constant football:
“I want to get out of here with positive thoughts, what we did well in the second part and to go convinced that we can qualify. There are 90 minutes in which anything can happen.
Overall, taking the matches in the first two stages of the championship, as well as this match, what I can say is that we have to play 90 minutes. In the championship I had a good half, a bad one, tonight. It is something we have to regulate, to be constant over 90 minutes, and what we work daily to put into practice on the field. ”
