Diplomats confirmed in an interview with “FT” that a possible extension could take several months and would require a resolution of the UN Security Council.
Some radical Iranian politicians threatened Tehran's withdrawal from the Nuclear weapon (NPT) NPT weapons, if the UN sanctions are restored. Iran has already suspended cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (Maea).

He emphasized, however, that the Iranian side would not allow inspectors to enter nuclear facilities.

Iran authorities maintain that the nuclear program of this country is only peaceful, although Tehran enriches uranium to a level not used in any civil applications, but allowing it to quickly adapt it to military needs.
Foreign Minister Iran Abbas Aragczi said on Thursday on state television that talks with E3 do not mean a change in the position of the Republic. “The world should know after the war that Iran's position has not changed and is still strong,” he argued. – Enriching uranium will continue and we will not compromise in matters related to the rights of the Iranian people – he declared.
