The road police, who investigated the incident, took hours to carry out the investigation. The recovery of the residues of the ultra -eating plane also lasted hours.
It is not clear where Sergio Ravaglia and his partner were heading, because they were not obliged to reveal their destination. The investigators identified the owner, as well as the driver responsible for checking the aircraft, based on the few fragments of the maintenance book found on board.
The parquet has opened a file for murder, but it will be extremely difficult to determine the cause of the disaster.
“Based on the initial information we have obtained, there are no procedures for this type of ultra-aircraft that must be respected before taking off or during the flight,” confirmed the prosecutor Francesco Prete.
“Therefore, it remains to be seen if there was a lacuna in regulations that allowed the aircraft owner to fly without reporting anything and without being subjected to any control. There is no flight plan to be reported,” said the Italian prosecutor, according to which such devices do not have a black box and the law does not provide one.
