Marta Cienkowska – Who is the new minister of culture? Donald Tusk: It's a good shot


Marta Cienkowska after the reconstruction of the government will direct the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, replacing Hanna Wróblewska in this position. From 2023, Cienkowska was the deputy minister of this ministry.
As Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Wednesday, presenting the composition of the new government, the advantage of Cienkowska is “inexhaustible energy” and “despite the young age the extensive experience needed to act in this area”. “I think it's a good shot,” said the prime minister.
Until now, Marta Cienkowska was the deputy minister of culture responsible for the Department of Funds and European Affairs and the Department of Foreign Cooperation, i.e. she was chasing the KPO program.
Marta Cienkowska was born in 1987 in Ciechanów. As we read in her official biography, she is a political science and cultural manager.

Biography of Marta Cienkowska
She graduated from political science with a specialization in European management at the University of Warsaw. She also obtained a diploma of the Polish Academy of Sciences in the field of culture management in the structures of the European Union and the High Performance Leadership certificate from the Business Development Institute.

She was involved in the design of marketing campaigns and providing support in the financing of new projects and products from public funds (also European).
