In Achinsk, a new bus route No. 40 was officially opened, which will be served by gas-powered buses. During the ceremony, the staff cleric of the Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God of Achinsk, Archpriest Dionisy Kolmakov, blessed the new transport.
Five new gas-powered MAZ buses have entered the route and will run from 9 May Street to the city hospital. In total, 11 high-capacity environmentally friendly buses manufactured in Minsk arrived in Achinsk. Similar transport is already operating in Krasnoyarsk and Norilsk.
The ceremony was attended by the head of the city, Igor Titenkov, and the Minister of Transport of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Dmitry Zotin. Father Dionysius sprinkled holy water on the new buses and the staff of the enterprise.
