Forget about the tent and mosquitoes! Camping today is four -star departments with aquaparks, air conditioning and a mobile office. Ola Dudek, blogger and family travel expert, in an interview with Maria Grykin as part of the “course on …” series discovers a new dimension of a holiday adventure. Comfort, integration and dog ice cream – it's not a joke.

Ola Dudek is a traveler, blogger, co -creator of the Globetroterek.com website, in which she has been showing with her husband Tomek and son Michał for years, how interesting and practically traveling with a child. They specialize in family camping trips, visited hundreds of campsites and willingly share proven tips that inspire hundreds of families to set off.
Camping is today a style of rest, which combines comfort with adventure, and often also with surprisingly affordable prices. As Ola Dudek emphasizes, the campsites are currently far from the stereotypical picture of “a bunny campsite with whipped grass, with a wooden outcrop under the forest.” Contemporary facilities are “four- and five-star departments, in which we have aquaparies, pitches, great playgrounds, rope parks with animations from morning to night.” This transformation means that campsites are now an ideal place for families with children, offering the highest level of infrastructure and safety, where “at 22:00 at this campsite is complete silence.”

How much is it?
Although camping prices at the top of the season can be comparable to the hotel, they are surprisingly low. Ola Dudek refutes the myth of a cheap campsite, “but not quite”, citing an example.

For a week at an Italian campsite during Easter for the whole family in a three -day house fully equipped – with a terrace, with a kitchen, with a bathroom, with air conditioning – I paid PLN 1,000 – says the traveler.

The cheapest option always remains traveling with your own tent on the plot, which still allows the use of all luxurious camping facilities, and the price for such a place is about PLN 2,000 for 8 days for 4 people in Croatia.

School of life and friendship
Camping is more than a form of travel; It's a “a little lifestyle” that promotes building unique relationships.

Children at campsites “integrate well” regardless of origin or language, creating “gang of children” running around the area. Adults also gain, experiencing “a lot, much more openness, greater such freedom and much easier contact than, for example, in closed hotel rooms”, which builds a strong sense of community and mutual help, an example of which is the story with slices that immediately took care of the crying child.
The next episode of the podcast on August 7: we will take you on an extraordinary high -mountain expedition, even if you haven't walked in the mountains before.
