The Polish army is ready. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs comments on the escalation in the Middle East

Wroński pointed out that currently the airspace over Israel and Iran is closed, while the airspace over Jordan is open. “We don't know how long it will take. There is one tourist group in Jordan. I hope that they will be able to leave that area quite quickly and efficiently” – he said.
He added that “if the airspace over Israel and Iran is closed, shells and rockets fly, it is difficult to start a conversation about this kind of evacuation.” He pointed out, however, that there are possibilities to leave these places by land. “In Iran it is a border with Turkey, a border with Armenia. However, in Israel, of course, we also examine such possibilities at land crossings, to Jordan at sea crossings,” he said.
When asked about Polish citizens staying in the region covered by the conflict, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs replied that nobody was talking about evacuation.

He said that on Saturday morning a meeting was held at the Operational Center under the leadership of Deputy Minister Henryka Mościcka-Dendys, where the Ambassadors presented the situation in Iran and Israel. “Employees of the Polish embassy are safe” – assured Wroński.
“As far as I know, Poland is not within range of rockets,” added a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
