According to Ukrainian Air Force reports, on Tuesday evening there was a failure of the Mirage-2000 aircraft. Local media – including Volynnews – reported that the incident occurred in Volhynia.

“The pilot acted in accordance with the principles in crisis situations and was successful” – we read in the communiqué.
– Unfortunately, we lost a combat aircraft. The French machine, very effective, one of our mirage fighters (…) The pilot managed to get out, and the plane was not shot down by the Russians – commented the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelnski in the recording posted on his office's website.
The fighter crashed in Volhynia. The commission will examine the causes of the accident
The search and rescue team found a pilot. His condition is stable. Besides, no one else was injured in the event.

Ukraine's Air Force informed about the establishment of a special commission, which is to examine the causes of an air accident.
Mirage-2000 Ukraine received from France. The first delivery of machines went to Ukraine in February this year.
