The law was attacked by President Nicușor Dan at the CCR, who had claimed the unclear character of the notions of “legionary” and “fascist”. The RCC, however, rejected the president's unconstitutionality objection as unfounded.
President Nicuşor Dan announced on Friday that he will resubmit the law in Parliament, after the Constitutional Court will publish the motivation of the decision by which he decided that the normative act is according to the fundamental law.
