Polish consumers distrustful. Pessimists came and the result is still in the minus

The current indicator of consumer trust in June reached a value -14 point – informs the Central Statistical Office (CSO) in Wednesday's publication. This means a deterioration of the situation. A month earlier, the indicator was also negative, but less (-9.3 points).
On the other hand Ahead of the consumer trust rate was -7.7 pointsand a month earlier it was at the level of -4.6 points. So here there was a regression.

Consumer trust indicator. What is this?
Current consumer trust index defines the expected changes in the financial situation of households in the next 12 months and changes in the general economic situation of the country.
This indicator arises as a result survey. It can take a value from -100 to +100 points. Value above zero means the number of consumers optimistically focused on pessimistic consumers. Negative value reflects the opposite relationship.

In addition to the current consumer trust indicator, the Central Statistical Office also publishes a pre -overtaking consumer trust indicator. It defines changes in the financial situation of the household, the general economic situation of the country, trends on the labor market and the possibility of saving in the next 12 months.

All components of the current consumer trust indicator obtained lower values than a month ago. The largest decrease (by 6.8 points) was recorded for the assessment of the current possibility of making important purchases.
For other components, the decreases were as follows:
- 6.2 points for the assessment of the current economic situation of the country
- 5.1 points for the assessment of the future economic situation of the country
- 2.7 points for assessments of the current and future financial situation of the household
