The White House published on Wednesday the development plan for artificial intelligence, opposing regulations and the fight against disinformation, as well as the establishment of American “domination” in this area and creating an international alliance under Washington's leadership. The plan calls for depriving US opponents access to technology.

A document published on Wednesday, created by the president's advisers, including David Sacks, a former investor from the Silicon Valley and ally Elon Musk, talks about the need to “win the race” for dominance in the AI area. At the same time, he calls for limiting state and federal regulations, powerful investments in the construction of AI and energy infrastructure, and the creation of an international alliance under US leadership.
Just as we won the space race, so the United States and their allies must necessarily win this race – the authors appeal.
Unlike the strategy adopted by Joe Biden's administration, the document practically does not mention the need to ensure the security of AI systems. The document was called to abandon the regulations regarding the limitation of disinformation or references about climate change. Instead, entities involved in building the AI system are to focus on the promotion of freedom of speech and American values.
The plan also talks about ensuring that American technology and systems dominate the world.
“The United States must meet the global demand for artificial intelligence, exporting their entire AI technology package – hardware, models, software, applications and standards – for all countries willing to join the American alliance for artificial intelligence,” it was written.
“The failure of this demand would be an unjustified mistake that would prompt these countries to turn to our rivals,” warns the authors.
The plan at the same time calls to strengthen the control of exports of sensitive technologies and advanced semiconductors and monitoring so that they do not reach America's opponents by third states.
The publication of the document is the result of the regulation issued by President Trump and ordering the designation of the US domination plan in the AI area. On Wednesday, Trump will give a speech on this topic at the AI summit in Washington.
