Live drawing lots for the target of the new season of Liga 2

The new season of the second step will start on August 2, provides for 21 stages in the regular season, later the already-class format with play-off and two play-out groups.

The representatives of the federation attributed to each team a number, and then to pair them on the basis of the Berger Table of 22 and to result in the target of the new regular season. FRF transmission ended without the program – at least the first stage – to be communicatedthe federals will publish it.

The composition of the Liga 2 season

The composition of the Liga 2 season was announced on Monday by FRF. For financial reasons, two teams that should have participated, FCU Craiova and Gloria Buzău, will not start in this second league. They were replaced by CSC Dumbrăvița (the one who lost the maintenance dam) and AFC Câmpulung Muscel, one of the teams relegated to Liga 3.

Nine of these teams do not have a form of organization that will allow them to promote in the first league. These are 4 of the 5 newly promoted (except FC Bacău), Steaua București, CSC Șelimbăr, CS Afumați, CSM Slatina and CSC Dumbrăvița.

The number could be 11, but the FRF approved two assignments from public law clubs to private clubs (Corvinul Vechi -> New Corvin, of private law, respectively CS Unirea Ungheni -> AFC ASA Tg. Mureș).

Procedure to draw lots

The procedure for establishing the program for the dispute of the first phase of the competition, ie the regular season, will be made on the basis of the Berger table for 22 teams, the number corresponding to each team being established by drawing lots.

The balls are numbered from 1 to 22 and inserted into two separate urns:

– urn A (at home) – red – balls with numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11
– urn B (movement) – blue – balls with numbers 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22

According to Article 10, par. 4 of the ROAF, which states that “if several clubs have the registered office in the same locality, the program will be drawn up in such a way that the teams of the respective clubs alternatively play on their own ground, so that in these localities a balanced competitive program will be provided”, in these situations the next number scheme will be used, in which a number of the urn, in which a number in the urn, overlap.
