Russia produces thousands of long-range drones monthly at a factory where teenagers work partially, while Moscow is about to reach their goal to launch 2,000 drones per night, according to Euronews.com.

In a video recording broadcast by the television network of the Russian Defense Ministry, which presents the Yelabuga factory near Kazan, see students and members of the personnel along the factory production line, producing Black Drones Geran-2, the Russian version of the Iranian drone Shahed.

The factory produces thousands of drones every month to further strengthen Vadlimir Putin's strategy of night attacks on Ukrainian cities and other civil targets, writes the source.

Adolescents of only 15 years, after the end of the 9th grade, are invited to work at the factory, and most of them come from the nearby Technical College, according to the information provided in the registration.

“Wherever you look, you see young people at work,” says the narrator in the video recording. Also, in the pictures you can see dozens of teenagers assembling drones and working behind the computers in the factory hall.

Another frame shows a banner that writes “Kurchatov, Korolyov and Stalin live in your DNA”, a reference to the Soviet physicist Igor Kurchatov, considered the father of the Soviet program of the atomic bomb, and to Serhiy Korlyov, the main designer of spatial ships during the space.

The Shahed drones manufactured in Tehran and their Russian version have become a key tool in the plans of Russian President Vladimir Putin to constantly bomb the Ukrainian cities and other civilian objectives, in an attempt to demoralize the country that defends the total war of Moscow, now in the fourth year, writes Euronews.ro.

European defense officials believe that, as the factory production grows, Russia intends to carry out thousands of drones every night over Ukraine. The black paint used for the Geran-2 drones also indicates an increasing orientation to nocturnal raids.

According to estimates, only in the first half of 2025 it is expected that up to 18,000 drones will be built at the Yelabuga plant.

Russia is now targeting Ukraine with an average of over 500 drones and rockets every night, and analysts believe that Moscow's ability to hit Ukraine could soon reach 1,000 drones and rockets per day. The largest Russian attack on Ukraine was on July 9, when they were launched 741 rockets and drones in Ukrainian cities and regions.

Last week, the high-year German military official, General-General Christian Freuding, warned that Ukraine and its allies must expand defensive measures to create cost-effective air defense systems to counteract Russian attacks, which risk increasing. According to Freuding, Russia is trying to acquire the ability to launch 2,000 drones per night, which would be a significant challenge for Ukrainian defense systems.
