The pilot explained the maneuver to passengers
– We made a really sharp turn and then the pilot turned on the intercom and said: “I am sorry to everyone, I will explain everything when we land safely” – reported one of the passengers in an interview with Kfyr local television.
After a while, the pilot reported that he had received an instructions for changing the direction from the air traffic controllers due to the insufficient distance from the preceding aircraft on the approach path. However, he was not warned about the military air traffic. Therefore, he quickly decided that the safest solution would be to turn the plane behind the bomber.
