The pilot made a “aggressive maneuver”. Thanks to this, he avoided a disaster

– LOT SKWEST No. 3788, from Minneapolis in Minnesota to Minot, North Dakota, landed safely after receiving consent, But he made a departure to the second circle when another plane appeared on his route. We are investigating the incident – said the SKYWEST cruise operator in a statement for the Sunday publishing of the journal.
Gazeta, citing the Aviation A2Z portal, said that crew members and passengers sitting on the right side of the aircraft saw the military machine through the windows. The atmosphere on board was – as they reported – “strangely calm”, when the pilot unexpectedly started a series of sharp turns. The incident occurred on Saturday evening.
The pilot explained the maneuver to passengers
– We made a really sharp turn and then the pilot turned on the intercom and said: “I am sorry to everyone, I will explain everything when we land safely” – reported one of the passengers in an interview with Kfyr local television.
After a while, the pilot reported that he had received an instructions for changing the direction from the air traffic controllers due to the insufficient distance from the preceding aircraft on the approach path. However, he was not warned about the military air traffic. Therefore, he quickly decided that the safest solution would be to turn the plane behind the bomber.
The Minot Air Force base houses 5. Bomb wing and 91. Rocket wing. There are also a lot of US Air Force equipment and vehicles, including 26 B-52 bombers.
