Krasnoyarsk will become a platform for the international judo tournament

In Krasnoyarsk, international judo competitions will be held – the stage of the Russian Judo Tour of the memory of the director of the non -ferrous and gold plant Vladimir Gulidov.

It is expected that about 200 strongest judokas will be accepted in the tournament. Invitations to participate in the competitions were received by athletes from two dozen countries. In addition to Russians, the Krasnoyarsk carpet is expected to perform representatives of India, Cuba, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Colombia, Italy and others.

Sets of awards will be played by men and women. The fights will take place in 14 weight categories. According to the results of the competitions, the judo of the Russian national team may be awarded the title of “Master of Sports of Russia of the International Class”.

Tournament program:

August 9

  • Men: 60 kg, 66 kg, 73 kg;
  • Women: 63 kg, 70 kg, 78 kg, +78 kg;
  • 09:00 – the beginning of the competition;
  • 16:15 Opening ceremony;
  • 17:00 Final fights, awarding.

August 10

  • Men: 81 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg, +100 kg;
  • Women: 48 kg, 52 kg, 57 kg;
  • 09:00 Start of the competition;
  • 17:00 Final fights, awarding.

In addition to the competitive program, master classes and autograph sessions with glorified judokas are also planned.

“In 2022, the Gulidov memorial was already part of the Russian Judo Tour series. The return to Krasnoyarsk of this series of professional competitions was one of the first significant projects implemented as part of an agreement, which in April 2024 the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov signed with the Federation of Judo Russia, ”the regional Ministry of Sports explained.

Recall, for the first time, the tournament took place in 1994 under the name “Center of Asia.” After the tragic death of the General Director of the Krasnoyarsk Factory of Non -Metal Metals, the Honorary President of the Regional Judo Federation Vladimir Gulidov, the tournaments began to be held in his honor. Since 2004, the competition has received the status of all -Russian.
