The border of Russia with Georgia wants to cross 80 supposedly Ukrainians – the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia

The Georgian department reports that allegedly Ukrainians arrive at the border through the Russian checkpoint “Daryali” (North Ossetia) and “ask them to cross the state border of Georgia according to invalid documents.”

“Most of these persons have a serious criminal record and were repeatedly convicted of serious or serious crimes, which is confirmed by their release from penitentiary institutions. In addition, they themselves declare that they were serving a sentence committed in penitentiary institutions in eastern Ukraine. Accordingly, they were not allowed to enter the country in the interests of state security,” the saying said, “the saying said,” the saying said post.

The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs claims that these people are now in the neutral zone, and Tbilisi proposed to Ukraine “several mechanisms of safe evacuation and return” to their homeland – both air and sea transport.

Ukraine is supposedly “so far abstained from the return of the sea and has not yet made a specific decision on their evacuation.”

However, joint consultations are currently being actively undergoing a coordination of the mechanism for the safe return of these persons to their homeland, including their air transport. We hope that the Ukrainian side will make a decision on the return of its citizens to their homeland in a timely manner.

“At present, about 80 such persons are on the border of Georgia, most of whom do not meet the criteria for entering the state border of Georgia,” the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
