In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the prosecutor's office returned to municipal property an illegally retired land with an area of 100 hectares.
According to the supervisory authority, in 2023, the administration of the Emelyanovsky district neglected legal grounds and provided the local resident for rent a land plot of impressive sizes – 1 million square meters.
Agricultural land, intended for grazing animals, was sold on preferential conditions. The obligatory auction was not declared and there were no other applicants for the purchase of land. In addition, the law on the size of the lands that a citizen leading a personal subsidiary farm could own.
“The maximum permitted area of the site was exceeded 40 times. And then the initial tenant unexpectedly rebuilt the right to own land to another person, ”the prosecutor's office said.
Since the current situation could not have a legal justification, the prosecutor's office sent a lawsuit to the court with a demand for recognition of transactions by void. The court supported the position of the prosecutor, and now this section of 100 hectares belongs to the municipality again.
