The scientific commission allocated an additional bet for a specialist in the Jewish (Yiddish) language.
Consideration of the issue of creating a consulting bureau for the Jewish language was the beginning of work on preparing for the scientific language conference (0+). The history of preparation for the conference, its repeated transfers, which, ultimately, has not taken place, requires a separate study. At the same time, Beinfest, as the chairman of the Scientific Commission, did everything possible to hold it.
Preparation for the language conference has become one of the most significant projects of the Scientific Commission. It was included in the plan for her work for 1937. Beinfest, despite the fact that repression began in the region against the chairman of the regional executive committee I.I. Lieberberg and a number of other leaders continued to actively work to prepare for the conference.
