The United States will begin negotiations with China on the agreement on Tiktok

The agency writes that Trump plans to discuss an agreement with the head of China Xi Jinping or with one of his representatives on Monday or Tuesday. According to the head of the White House, the contract is “practically concluded.”

Previously, Trump suggested that the United States supposedly would have to receive the approval of an agreement from China. To the question of how sure he is that the PRC will agree to the agreement, he stated that “he is not sure, but thinks yes,” emphasizing his “excellent relationship” with Xi Jinping. He is convinced that the agreement is beneficial for both parties.

Reuters recalls that last month, Trump extended until September 17, during which the BYTEDANCE, which was based in China, should sell American assets of Tiktok.
