The average temperatures will end up exceeding the normal values for this period in most regions of the country in the next four weeks, according to the weather estimates for the range of July 7 – August 4, 2025 published on Friday by the National Meteorological Administration (ANM).
In Week 7 – 14 Julythermal values will be higher than the specific ones for this week in the southern regions, and in the rest will be generally close to the normal ones.
The pluviometric regime will be surplus in the western, northern, northeast and central regions, but also slightly deficient in the southwestern end, and the rest will be close to the normal one.
In Week 14 -21 Julyaverage temperatures will be higher than normal for this interval throughout the country, but especially in the southwestern regions.
The amounts of precipitation will be close to the normal ones for this period in the southeast of the territory, and in the rest will be deficient, especially in the west, north and center.
In Week 21 – 28 Julythe average air temperature will have higher values than normal for this interval in all regions, but especially in the western and southern ones.
The pluviometric regime will be deficient in the western, northern and central regions, and the rest will be generally close to the normal one for this period.
In Week July 28 – August 4the average of the thermal values will be above the specific ones for this week throughout Romania, but especially in the southwestern regions.
The amounts of precipitation will be deficient in most of the country, but especially in the mountain areas.
Meteorological estimates for four weeks are made by the European Center for Average Places. The weekly average of air temperature deviations and precipitation amounts to the average of the period 2005-2024 is estimated. Extreme phenomena with a short period of manifestation cannot be forecast with this product, ANM says.
