“Pride took him the clarity of thinking from him.” Seven main sins of Elon Musk. He approached the sun and fell into the abyss

Compared to the peak level achieved at the end of 2024, Tesla's stock market capitalization dropped by 30 %, i.e. almost $ 400 billion. (approx. PLN 1 trill 447 billion). Thus, Elona Muska lost almost seven times more than Mercedes.
It started with a dramatic decrease in the sale of electric vehicles – in the last quarter sales fell by 13 percent. But Musk's problems in the field of electric cars are just the beginning. The richest man in the world believed in his legend he created and it lost him.
Elon Musk has never been a champion in building cars, but a master of telling stories. His story about a genius, which does not need sleep to dominate the world in three industries at the same time (cars, rockets, social media), was the best thing Wall Street and the media have been heard for a long time. Thanks to these stories, Muska's valuation grew.
The billionaire not only told this story, but also began to believe in it himself. Pride, however, finally took away the clarity of thinking. On the day he thought he could rule the world's greatest economic power without the support of voters, and the US president is only his puppet, he began to fall into the abyss.
Second sin. He believed he could save America
Elon Musk, with the beginning of the second term of Donald Trump in the White House, headed the Department of Government Efficiency (Doge) – a federal agency established to introduce cuts in public administration.
The billionaire no longer wanted to save only the electric car industry, but also the entire United States. As a consequence, he became a “destructor”, a bureaucracy slayer, which brought a wave of criticism on him. His mass layoffs managed not only led to national protests, but also to expensive briefings. In many cases, his decisions were dismissed by the courts, and the overall balance of profits and losses for the US became the subject of a deep dispute.
Third sin. He is guided by instinct and is probably the most irrational director in the world
The fascination of Elon Musk initially resulted from the fact that he did not suit the classic stereotype of the manager. He is restless and cannot concentrate. He rules his companies intuitively, not reason.
Irrationality was funny for the media, but problematic for his companies: Starlinka, X and Tesla. The head of the company, which introduces autonomous cars to the roads and fires rockets, should be more mentally stable.
Added to this were political antics, which led to a dispute with Trump and the announcement of the intention to create an American party – allegedly the third serious political group in the US after democrats and republicans.
Musk would thus stood in direct competition with the president, with the intention of taking away most of him in the Congress in supplementary elections on November 3, 2026. Earlier he became the greatest donor of republicans in terms of transferred funds.

Fourth sin. He can't focus on work
Musk is not only irrational, but also cannot concentrate. As the president of the board, he must share his energy between three companies with very different business models. Satellite internet, rockets and cars at the same time – it couldn't end well.
Investors are currently dissatisfied with Elon Musk. In a letter of twelve investors addressed to the chairman of the supervisory board of Tesla, Robyn Denholm, they wrote:
Fifth sin. Overestimates his position in Tesla
Elon Musk, with 13 percent shares, he is only a minority shareholder of Tesla – although the largest single shareholder. However, he will remain general as long as investors allow him. And among some of his most prominent supporters, dissatisfaction is growing.
Ross Gerber, one of the first large investors and a former Muska fan, now says:
As reported by “The Wall Street Journal”, the search for the successor of Elon Musk has already begun in Tesla.
Sin six. Impulsiveness
According to the reports of “The Washington Post”, Elon Musk was to beat the treasury secretary Scott Bessent right after leaving the oval office. His strange behavior repeatedly pointed out the media's attention.
As “The Washington Post” writes on the basis of interviews with over a dozen people around Musk, court documents and previously unpublished correspondence, the billionaire depends on ketamine and adderall resembling drugs. Musk was to carry a “daily cassette” with 20 tablets. Taking these substances could affect the billionaire's ability to maintain communication with important investors and people from Trump's surroundings.
Seventh sin. He made himself an enemy of the most powerful man in the world
Because Musk is also a high -ranking beneficiary of US government subsidies, and Starlink and Spacex remain dependent on government orders, the sharp dispute with Trump was a fatal mistake. Trump saw a weak point of his rival.
“Elon may have received more subsidies than any man in history, and without a subsidy Elon would probably have to close the store and return home in South Africa. End with launching rockets, satellites or the production of electric cars, and our country would save a fortune,” Trump recently wrote on the Truth Social platform.
“Perhaps the agency for the effectiveness of the Doge government should look at the state support for Muska concerns,” added the US president.
Elon Musk rose too high. Problems with sales and lurking with the President of the USA are too much even for such a unique personality. The Chinese proverb advises to at least bury the ax with Trump. A hand that you cannot cut should be embraced.
