The tragedy took place on Thursday in Argeș county, in the area of the Posada hotel, on the Vidraru dam, on DN 7C – Transfăgărășan, according to the local press.
A group of motorcyclists stopped on the roadside was attacked by a bear. From the first information, one of the bear was assaulted, and then the animal pulled the victim to Lake Vidraru, writes Ziarul de Muscel.
On the spot, the authorities identified traces of blood, human tissue and motorcyclist equipment, indicating that the fight continued in the direction of the steep slope from the lake, writes Argeș-Stiri.
The motorcyclist was pulled in the rap for about 60 meters. The motorcycle is registered on Italy.
According to the local press, the lifeguards from Arges County asked to help to extract the corpse from the rap.
At the end of May, two foreign tourists, a man from Poland and a woman from Spain, were injured by the bear, in two consecutive days, in the area of Vidraru Dam in Argeş county.
