A new war may begin in Africa: the Rwanda army is preparing for the invasion of the Democratic Republic of the Congo
As noted, the Rwanda authorities want to support the rebels opposing the official authorities of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Also in the plans – the occupation of the border city of Gomu.
At the same time, the peacekeeping contingent of the UN in the DRC carries. Earlier, during the battles, 13 UN peacekeepers and 9 peacekeepers from South Africa were killed.
The UN Security Council announced an emergency meeting on January 26 amid the situation.
