The conclusion is motivated, among others The ongoing investigation of the European Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) regarding the participation of the EC in the process of purchasing Covid-19 vaccines, allegations of related irregularities and allegations of improper management of funds as part of the after-the-enormous Reconstruction Fund. Applicants also accuse the commission of for interference in the presidential election in Romania.

Voting on the conclusion of distrust must also be preceded by a debate. The source of PAP said that it would take place on Monday, July 7.

At least two -thirds of voted votes are needed to accept a vote of no confidence.

In the event of a vote of no confidence in the EC, as a whole, he must resign.
