The Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov met with the General Secretary of the Association of Regional Administrations of the countries of North-East Asia (Arassva) Lim Bun Gin.
The press service of the regional government said that the head of the region discussed with the General Secretary of the prospect of expanding cooperation between the region and the association. In Krasnoyarsk, Lim Bun Gene took part in the meeting of the Arassva Youth Policy subcommission. Representatives of the five countries participated in the discussion personally and on the video: the Republic of Korea, China, Mongolia, Japan and Russia.
Mikhail Kotyukov welcomed the tall guest:
“Thank you for supporting the development of ties between the regions included in the association. We pay great attention to youth projects and believe that the Krasnoyarsk Territory is a region of active, initiative young people. Developing youth ideas, we contribute to long -term and sustainable development around the world. I am sure that by joint efforts we will be able to bring our cooperation to a new level. ”
The governor also recalled that in the summer of 2019, the Forum of the Young leaders of Arasva was held at Tim Biryusa, in which representatives of Mongolia, China, the Republic of Korea, Japan and Russia participated, and invited the youth of the countries to visit the Biryusa again.
Mikhail Kotyukov noted that there is significant potential for the development of relations between the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the regions included in the association, in the fields of culture, education and tourism.
Lin Benn Jin, in turn, thanked the governor for the warm welcome and noted the important importance of the region for the regions – participants in the organization:
“The Arassva Secretariat pays great attention to cooperation with the Russian regions included in the association. Despite the difficulties between Russia and the Republic of Korea, at present, relations continue to develop through the Association platform. The Krasnoyarsk Territory is the coordinator of the subcommission on youth policy and thereby makes a significant contribution to the development of international youth cooperation in North-East Asia. ”
Lim Bun Jin noted the beauty of our region and tourist attractions, including the Yenisei. He admitted that Krasnoyarsk became a city for him, where he would like to return again. The Secretary General believes that ecological tourism can be one of the directions for the development of relations between the Krasnoyarsk Territory with the regions of Arassva.
