The Colombian volunteers from the Ukrainian army have taken control over a strategic portion on the Kursk front thanks to a decisive attack, according to the latest evolutions of the war in the border regions. The attack contributes to control in the area, but also to sabotage Russia's offensive efforts in the Sumi region, reports Euromaidan Press.

Recently, the Ukrainian units have undertaken offensive operations targeted in the border region near the Russian village Novi Put, strategically located between Tiotkino and the areas where Russia infiltrated the Sumi region. The objective is as clear as possible: to prevent Russia from launching additional offensives, which would threaten and defend the Sumi from the north.
The tactical approach of Ukraine in this critical area has three components: the systematic reduction of the Russian herds, the neutralization of the Russian artillery, respectively small surgical operations, but with a high strategic impact.

Following this decisive victory, the Columbian-Ukrainian forces presented the captured Russian equipment to highlight their success.

The defensive potential is consolidated by the lines of interconnected trees and nearby settlements, which offer hidden terrestrial communication lines for Ukrainian troops.
