PiS demands resignation in the government of Donald Tusk. It's about Ukraine

According to the Commissioner, this contract opens a new chapter in the commercial relations of the EU-Ukraine, determines long-term, predictable and mutual framework, beneficial for exporters, enterprises and farmers on both sides and strengthens the road of Ukraine to membership in the EU. The contract also contains – as he added – the “solid mechanism” of EU markets, especially in areas where imports from Ukraine could cause serious difficulties for the Member States.
EU trade agreement with Ukraine. PiS criticizes the minister of government Donald Tusk
MEP Waldemar Buda from PiS announced that the contract was agreed during the Polish presidency in the EU, “Without knowledge, without the participation of the Minister of Agriculture Czesław Siekierski, who is outraged by the current situation“.

“To be honest, his indignation here does nothing to the matter. He should build so many opportunities in this matter to block the Commissioner (trade for trade) so that such a decision is not made. So the first thing he should do is to resign” – Buda appealed.
According to the MEP, the agreement of the contract shows that The EU goes towards the liberalization of trade with Ukraine, which “is terrible information”.
In the opinion of MEP Anna Zalewska (PiS), the agreement means “the absolute collapse of Polish and European agriculture. Zalewska also reported at a press conference that PiS MEPs decided that they would apply for an extraordinary meeting of the Agricultural Commission in this matter or apply for the program of the nearest committee meeting, which will take place on Monday in Strasbourg contracts.
Buda also expressed critically about the protective mechanism concluded in the agreed agreement. He assessed that this solution would be ineffective. “This is a reaction to a situation that is already a kind of commercial crisis within a particular country. It means that when they flood us with some contingent, some product, then the European Commission will be able to make a decision, and it will be too late” – he argued.
PiS criticizes the EU agreement with Ukraine. The Minister of Agriculture comments
Minister of Agriculture Czesław Siekierski, commenting on Monday about the conclusion of an agreement on a new trade agreement with Ukraine, wrote that The European Commission has decided to end negotiations with Ukraine without prior consultation with EU Member States and agricultural organizations.
“With disappointment, I adopted the way the EC informed the Member States about the end of negotiations with Ukraine on the last day of the Polish Presidency in the EU Council. As the chairman of the EU Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (Agrifish), I have repeatedly paid attention to the need for the European Commission to conduct commercial negotiations in a more transparent way and in dialogue with farmers” in your statement.
The Ministry of Agriculture informed in a statement that the EC has provided a general description of the elements of the agreement, but did not provide details, including, above all, regarding the new level of tariff contingents. This information is to be disclosed in the near future. The ministry assured that – after the text of the proposed agreement by the EC – it will analyze its content and cooperate with the Ministry of Development and Technology in matters regarding the government's position on this document.
