“On Good Friday, at home, at the Cornu Monastery, I had an unexpected meeting. Among the people, without announcement, without protocol, I met Nicușor Dan”, sent the head of PSD Prahova, the president of the County Council.
He described the meeting as a simple one, held in a religious setting, where official positions had no relevance.
“There were some simple moments, in a place where positions don't matter, but the silence and the meaning you find. In such moments you see more clearly what normal means: to be there, among people, not above them“, said Virgiliu Daniel Nanu.

He emphasized that the presence among the believers, during the Easter holidays, represents a gesture of closeness to the community.
“Easter, for us, is not only about traditions, but about returning – to faith, to balance, to the things that hold us together. And when you see that even those who lead choose to be among the people, without distance, it's a good sign”, President CJ Prahova sent.
He added that he enjoyed the meeting and the presence of the president among the people. “I was glad to see him close to the people. Where he really needs to be,” said the PSD leader.
Nicușor Dan's visit to the Cornu Monastery was not publicly announced and took place in a discreet setting, during the Good Friday services.
